    Beside a Stripe.js v2 global, v3 and the versioned builds attach themselves here instead of replacing window.Stripe.

    version?: string | number

    The build the global belongs to, as the served Stripe.js files set it and Stripe's own @stripe/stripe-js loader reads it: 3 for v3, the release name ("dahlia") for a versioned build, 2 for the legacy v2.
